About Marie

Marie is a registered clinical psychologist based in Kenmore, providing therapy for adults experiencing eating disorders and other eating issues, fertility challenges, difficulties during the perinatal period, depression, anxiety, stress, and other life difficulties. With over 15 years of experience working across private practice, hospital, and not-for-profit settings, Marie is known for her warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach. She places a strong emphasis on building supportive therapeutic relationships and creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and valued.

Marie is experienced in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Schema Therapy, Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM), Focal Psychodynamic Therapy (FPT) for Eating Disorders, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centred Therapy. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Marie works collaboratively with each client to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals, tailoring therapy to best meet their individual needs.

Marie is passionate about supporting people who are struggling with the impact of past experiences, current stressors, or longstanding patterns that no longer serve them. Her aim is to help clients better understand themselves, develop greater resilience, and build the confidence and skills needed to navigate life's challenges.

Outside of work, Marie enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially outdoors. She loves reading, watching television, and is always happy to receive a good book, podcast, or TV recommendation. Like many people, she juggles the demands of work and family life, and values making time for the simple things that help her feel connected and recharged.
